Reel, isn't your Honda a 20"er?

Hate to rain on the thought parade, but many discussions went on when I was looking for a V about a 25" motor being the minimum to put on a bracket because of the "dunking" issue.

That's why I got an open transom with my 20" Johnzuki.

Yer readin' my mind, RB...since the hull is at such a good price (IF I were to do this...BIG IF) I'd be lookin' into findin' a long mid-section to replace the shorty...I'd even consider a 30"er to REELY get 'er outta the water

I didn't pull any panels, but he was planing on using the tank like it was. Boat is over in Hobcaw, let me know if you are thinking about coming down and I'll get up with the owner to meet you. You might even know him, he's been a boat mechanic around here for years, his name is Carrey Davis, he used to work out of Shem Creek Marina, before they turned it into a drystack only.
