This used to be a great site to browse for insurance and boatyard sales till they added piles of sailing supplies.

I was told by Valiant that after the Demon storm as he calls it, they just come with chain saws cut them up load them and gone!
Man I would love to strip a few of them!!

had a friend that worked for tow boat us that went to mississippi after Katrina, he said the same thing. took a chain saw and cut the motor off the transom. loaded them in one dumpster, crushed the hulls & loaded them in another. these were the boats insured by towboat us. seems like a waste. he said they used to store them on a yard & try to sell salvage parts ,etc. but during opal they lost money and this was actually more profitable.
