Saw that a couple of weeks ago Tsubaki. That guy has got to be a Genius that has spent all his time studying. Because no one with half a brain or more would put up a kite surfing sail in those types of winds. Those kites are designed to pull you out of the water and give you tremendous air, what the hell did he think was goingto happen.

Well now the latest forecast heads it right in my area in Houston. I don't plan on leaving my house since last time (during RITA) they tried to evacuate Houston, more people died on the freeway then in the storm. I already got plenty of water, food, charcoal, gas and beer to last me a while if we lose power so ill be OK. Either way, the V20 is down in Corpus Christi on a trailer so if IKE hits there, it might be a goner. We will see. Thanks for yalls concern. If there's any damage I'll send some pics since yall seem to like those so much LOL.

Batten down the hatches, it looks ta be a bad one! Hope you all the best of luck! Hurricane Isabel kicked our a$$es years ago, havent forgotten all the damage we had from that one and it was only a category 2 when it hit here. We lost power for a week, seemed like longer using generators and trying to keep gas for them! Take care!!

Got out of work at noon today, but I left early. I don't think I'm in any danger even though its supposed to run my house over. I lose power pretty often anyway so I'm pretty sure I'll lose it with this. Supposed to be about 75mph winds at my house, about 60 miles inland.

Hopefully it will just be a cat 2 when it landfalls. I don't know how storm surges react down that way, but a cat 2 doesn't do too much surge damage here. Anyway, good luck to you guys down in Texas. We'll be praying for you!
