![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I blacked out the old Merc this past spring, and here is the cooler seat off a 17' Scout attached with bungies to two fairleads I mounted to the engine splash well board.

a couple of questions for you if you don't mind... 1. How did you get such a nice finish on all of the fiberglass on the inside of you boat...i.e. the two cabinets on the back, etc. 2. The doors on those cabinets....are they new or did you refinish the old....if you refinished how?

I assume you are talking about the floor cabinets in the back right? Well, they were in really good shape when I bought the boat, but in the spring of '07 I used this product called new glass2. It is a wipe on polymer that is basically putting new plastic on the hull. I haven't done my yearly coats this year, but the stuff holds up great! I only put a few coats on the inside, and it still looks great. As for the doors, they are the original plastic from Wellcraft. I haven't done anything to them except washing.
