Default rear seats

Hey guys. I was searching through the threads trying to find someone that has successfully fabricated or bought a seat to go across the back of the center console hull in front of the engine. I thought I saw something like it before, but I can not find it anymore.

I like the two over-stuffed folding chairs in back of my cuddy, but don't think there's room for 'em in the CC...

This shows the aluminum frames, but I bought two SS frames from West this year for same price...

Opened a West Marine flyer in the mail few weeks back...had SS versions of that chair for the same price as aluminum...ordered two that day...you are right...STRONGER for us fat-boys

If you have a store near you, you can call them, have them order, you pick up there and SAVE shippin'!!...

I found another solution. Recently I had a boat get repossesed from the marina and the guy picking it up said if there was anything we wanted off of it we could take it. This was a 2004 17' scout with the cooler seat in the front, well I got it, and it lines up perfect! I just added some tie down points to the engine well splash board and threw some bungy straps to hold it in place and pesto!! instant cushioned set for two!! I will follow up in a few days when I get some pics.

I blacked out the old Merc this past spring, and here is the cooler seat off a 17' Scout attached with bungies to two fairleads I mounted to the engine splash well board.

BCMARINA....

a couple of questions for you if you don't mind...
1. How did you get such a nice finish on all of the fiberglass on the inside of you boat...i.e. the two cabinets on the back, etc.

2. The doors on those cabinets....are they new or did you refinish the old....if you refinished how?
