Mooring chain

I've used that system to moor my boat for a few days at a time. I've always let it vane into the wind so the bow takes any wind driven waves. I also used SScable for my shore line so motorized dingys couldn't chop the line if the hit it.

What kind of bottom paint do ya use?

Re; amount of chain. More is always better.
