My Yamaha also was a oil issue!!
Middle cylinder on one side got messed up, but none of the other 5. But I did not run mine past idle, I heard the noise and was not to far from the ramp, jut shifted in gear and got in it, the damage is nothing like pic above but none the less it was 1 cylinder out of 6 and the oil pump was in 2 pieces when I found it.  Bottom and top just fine

Those melted pistons look like the ones that come out of drag cars when they hit the nitros too long.
