I looked at those pics and all I can say is WOW,
is that really a 78!?!?! Whoever you bought it from really took the time to keep it in good shape. Might I inquire as to what you paid? Oh yeah welcome to the site and be carefull around CTT, if you notice the pic at the bottom of his post, that is a member that we haven't heard from in a while and now we know why. CTT used his shrinking death ray to encapselate him in green jello.

Thanks guys and yep it is a 78. The engine is more than I was looking for but it was on the back and had just been serviced. Although I am thinking about re-powering. Boat, trailer, motor all 3k. Now I am in the market for a kicker. Any ideas about mounting, hp ?

Sharp looking boat. Sounds to me like you got a deal. If you are new to boating and the engine is in good shape mechanically I'd keep it for at least the first season.
