BC I appreciate the frustration, the pain, believe me I do. But you are stating what the problem is and reiterating what I said. We don't have to march, use force or anything else besides pull a lever.
That is why for example I am ashamed of my home state the Peoples Republic of NJ. They are voting in people that are in a nut shell Marxist's. They vote them in over and over. They are actually quite ignorant, or basically socialists themselves at heart or are voting for the one issue that is their favorite and could care less about the affect. The majority in fact in this country are going that way, in one of those three basic groups. Just for a moment step back and look what is about to declare victory in the democratic/socialist party primary for President of the U.S.A. For his entire adult life in spite of what this countyr has offered him in way of freedoms education and oppurtunity he and his wife are ashamed of the US. They have assosiated with the lowest forms of life in our country, devout racists, publicly devout racists. Confirmed, admitted and unrepentent terrorists. Would not wear an American flag lapel, did not feel it was right. Hundreds of thousands of men that have fought and died for that flag, my father, your fathers and grandfathers. Can you imagine for a moment if a presidential candidate had said something like that, or assosiated with people like that and our fathers and grandfathers found out. My Sweet Lord he would have been tossed out on his ear with a good asswhuppin included and the party who promoted him would have been disgraced. Look at the democratic party now disgusting. How a thinking reasoning man or woman could identify themselves as Americans and associate themselves with what was once a great party but has now deterioated to a socialst organization and would dishonor every American by putting that piece of crap in possible position to be the commander and chief of the U.S.A is absolutely beyond my comprehension. The fact that there has not been a mass exodus from that party says a lot. You want to know who to blame I have seen the enemy and it is us.

Two words:
TERM LIMITS. When I was a kid my parents were registered Democrats. They felt, as did many, that Democrats were looking out for the working man. Now, Democrats as well as Republicans, they're looking out for only themselves, specifically the perpetuation of their careers as politicians. It's all about re-election, which means it's about posturing themselves to the highest bidders, and accepting the bribes, er, contributions of lobbyists. Am I cynical, or just being realistic? Both, I think. But as long as we keep electing career politicians, we'll keep getting "the government we deserve." (Ben Franklin) |

I agree we are our own worst enemy. Our socialist government schools are training pod people. And these pod people are the perfect tool for politicians to stay in power. Everyone is so wrapped up in who's doing who in Hollywood and what Paris Hilton is doing, that no one has a clue to what the facts of this nation are. When I speak about taking up arms, I'm really joking, but I just want to make a point that our for-fathers have been to war over some of the exact issues we are dealing with right now. The real point is that over half the country is more apt to vote for the next American Idol than our commander-in-chief. The real power of the people lies with our house of representatives, and our ability to change them if they don't represent us. Why don't people care?!?!?!?
Term limits are also one way to go.... good luck with that though.
