There both V-20's in all actuality. The V-20 was available in 3 variety's. The center console, the cuddy cabin, and the dual console. They were all V-20 hulls though based off of the steplift design. The pictures you show look like a 70's era from 77+ center console.

Thanks guys, as long as it is the same hull then I am happy. I was a bit mixed up looking at some of the old catatogs listed here on the site with the 18 and 20 cc listed separately.

ct is that a piece of starboard on the transom, or just a different shade of gel coat? i know from your other post you are going to re-configure the transom, but it might be a bargaining chip..

Thanks Phat, I did not look that closely at the area last week, will do so Wednesday. For sure the boat has seen better days, one reason I am interested, strip it down and build it back up the way I want.

Any other suggestions guys are much appreciated.

Its the same boat as mine, '78 CC Fisherman. My console is farther back, at the rear end of the tank deck hatch.

I would build up the transom (25 inch motor), as mine takes water pretty quick around the motor. And you have to seal the motor well hatch.

It is a ugly duckling of boats these days, but the hull is seakindly and forgiving. I like mine.
