If it's a chewer, try a dentarope. There made of sturdy nylon ropw but treated to help clean there teeth and help there breath
 . As for the cat issue, I just had a run in just now. I live next to my grandparents to help take care of them and help out. Well, he has over a dozen cats. I have a rednose that HATES cats! He's behaved so long as I am around, but this morning I turned m y back for 5 seconds. And well you get the idea. He didn't kill it, but in the 10 seconds he had before I got to him he did some damage .

Thanks all!! he is learning pretty fast and I am sure in a couple of more weeks he will be all set!!
The Raw Hide is in the trash!! I just knew it wasn't good to be eating all that!! He has a bone that you chew and nothing comes off, he plays with it if there is nothing else, so we see how that goes, I will also look into the Dentarope He did have a regular roger with knots but he tore that up also in 2 days! CB got a look at mt attack dog today!! Barking like crazy at him. funny stuff!

Congrats, MJ! As has been said already, no rawhides. Try nylabones. No rope toys. And whatever he is chewing, monitor him. No chew toy is good if it gets eaten.

hey maco he looks just like you.
that breed needs plenty of toys. as mentioned earlier nylabones in several sizes and flavors. kong balls are good and you can stuff some treats in there to keep him busy. they also make a throwing toy made from a piece of firehose that is pretty tough.

Nice mutt buddy. I like him a lot. He'll settle down nicely once he adjusts to his new home.
I brought a guy to MJ's today to look at and buy my motor and he called Dale a live squeeze toy.
