This pic is what i see right after disconnecting the tilt motor.
It looks to me that the drive coupling is missing...so my tilt motor
runs and sounds good but just spins uselessly...looks like the
other hole is missing a part too.

i have an OMC parts catalog with exploded view i will use it to order parts.

Thefermanator nailed it.

Looks like your missing the entire pump assembly. It comes out once you remove the trim motor. Maybe somebody here has one that is leaking and could part with the pump and coupler.

thats the oil pump filter your seeing thats sitting on top of the oil pump assembly.
The only items i see missing are the drive coupling and ball and a socket head screw.

i put an allen wrench in the center hole the tilt motor is supposed to attach to...and as i turned it the other hole turned also nice and smooth.

Default You may or may not like this !!

I have number of ideas for you as for the parts Catalog I can pdf it to you, also you can simply go to http://www.ishopmarine.com/ishop/jsp...shopmarine.com
Note sure to copy and paste the entire link it shows your part listed a 258.00 dollars WOW
Or go to ishopmarine.com and scroll down and follow the "suppliers parts store" and click on Evinrude-Johnson Store then in the product line screen click on evinrude or johnson and follow it to your year etc (Note this site is tricky) where you select your enigine and you have access to the original OMC catalog with detail listing of all parts/number and price , You can also buy from them also. If you still need a PDF of the view send me an email and consider it done .
Also I have two units you can use , Question is am I selling? I was in the process of rebuilding one the other is in excellent condition which is my spare !! , But we all have a price :) or can trade for something ?
