I installed two s.s. flush mounts that angled back, but not outward. You've got to take into consideration the angle before drilling any holes. I think mine were angled back somewhere around 30*.....soooo you need to bore into your gunnel holding your drill at 30*. It was a little intimidating drilling a 2 1/8" hole right in the center of my gunnel....measure 10 times, make sure you don't interfere w/ rod boxes, steering/ electric wires etc. and you'll be good to go

Yes sir Phester, its just that if i point them outwards the bottom of the rod holder will not fit cause the gunwell is so narrow?? I think......trying to figure it out. Thanks guys

You will never get them to stick straight out the sides! you are right there is no room!
Yo will have to go with straight holders and get angled inserts. Or buy Out rig adjustable flush mounts and bolt on top, with backing plate under. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...=SearchResults
