Blue , thats a new concrete footing , we cut a hole in the slab and dug it out 2 ft and added rebarb and filled it back in there going to be a 5 1/2 x 14 micro lam 24 ft long spanning the width of the garage with a standard lollie colum resting on the footing.

What did you use to cut the slab? I'm thinking of doing some additional supports.

we used a makita K saw with a 12 inch diamond blade.....cut that concrete like hot knife thu butter

Come and build my garage. Broke my right hand punching the fridge during our move.
Pinched a nerve in my neck on my left side...C-5 is screwed, but I"ll be outside in the am I hope cutting concrete.
