Phes, I would attempt to do it myself BUT I dont have a garage to do it in. for one and I dont really have the time for two. and would really like to have all done come april so all i have to do is put the boat in the water.
as for whats wrong with the old one is the top around the vent is corroded and iam getting a wiff of fumes in the bilge when the tanks 3/4 to full

Ok, I have a plan to save you the labor money.
First, buy an empty lot. Build a 10000 sq. ft. building on it. Do the work yourself cause you have extra time now that the wife has kicked you out of the house. There, you saved $900.

Hey Lumber, that does sound kinda high. But most work done on boats is around 75.00 an hr. And if you aint got any place ta do it in out of the cold and ya got the money I cant blame ya for letting someone else do it for you. If it aint right ,at least you can blame somebody else!
