Default Repowering

I a looking to repower to a 4 strike Yamaha - probably 150 due to the difference in weight (I currently have a 200 Evinrude '95). Anyone have any good ideas when the best time to do this is?

Its better to by an air conditioner in the winter, does the same apply for an outboard So far, I get the sense its a sellers market for outboards. Just curious if anyone has any advice on when the best time to reporwer is. My current engine runs fine, so I fortunatly have the luxury of chosing when to upgrade. - bit I want a good deal. Based on some calls to loca Yamaha dealers, it looks like the F150s go for 12,000 plus about $2500 for installation. Yamaha is offering 1300 rebate thru July on istall Is it worth it to do it now, or wait until winter? Just wondering is someing went through this process and knows when the best time is to by an outboard.
