Default Re: Anyone have a V-20 CC?

I bought a 1985 CC. 1998 Johnson 175 HP with 475 hours on engine (checked on computer at mechanics shop), dual axle trailer (lasted a year and a half) been replaced now, outriggers, bimini top, GPS, FF, VHF, amfm stereo, anchor etc. ~ overall in fair/good condition and paid $5,900 two years ago.

I now have 680 hours on engine and a new trailer and a few upgrades, downrigger, color FF new leaning post and some minor work I have done and it is still probably only worth $5,900. Boats are not great money making investments, but if you get some use out of them, they are worth it in my opinion.

Good luck with your purchase. Motor is very important and try and take that to a shop to get it looked at by your mechanic. Bottom paint on that hull may mean that it was stored in the water at some point of its life, which is hard on any boat. Fresh water use is better than salt of course.

What are they asking for that boat and do you get any electronics?

here is mine.
