Anyone have a V-20 CC?
Hey guys,
new to the site. Just wanted to ask if any has a late 70s V-20 CC? I am looking at one right now and was wondering what I should watch for? What are some typical failures of these boats? I would guess gas tanks and wet stringers. Can anyone else provide me with any and all info you have on this boat? thank you in advance! |

also forgot to ask. What is a ball park figure for the boat with a mid 90s engine and a few electronics? thanks

I have an 1994 which is the same boat witha different console +/- and I love it. I would take a close look at the transom and look for any signs of rot . That is an area where you often find a problem . It's not that big a deal if the price is right , just a pain and about $2k unless you are very handy .

skmag357...gotta look at the whole package; solid floor, solid transom; consistant compression numbers from all cylinders...in general how's it been kept...trailer and what kinda shape it's in... the rig you describe could go for anywhere from 4-6 Gs...maybe more if it's a real ''gleemer''...less if it's dirty...got any pics you can post for us to look at?...
