You're in the ballpark - getting it for around $1k or so would be OK if she checks out OK (solid deck, stingers transom) It would give you enough headroom to do a fill the hole in the transom ($500+), do a bracket ($1000), and outboard ($3-6K+). And if you start now - you may just get it done in time for summer ... SO IMO - given those numbers, timeframe and work - you may want to keep looking around... Anyhow you already have one - and you want two, three or more ?? -Cbill
