Ha, well my DF140 is off the transom so I can't say positively, but I believe yes, even with cav plate.
I have a thousand pictures of my boat and not one shows it on the trailer with the motor down. These are the same transom holes my old Merc150 were in. On my DF140, top bolts go in the second hole from the top. Here are some pix of measurements in relation to the bottom of boat. Hope this helps? Also, I have a pdf of the service manual.
