Dry = dry foam = lots less weight and eventual rot of stringers. Do the same with all your hatches and rod holders... seal any cracks or holes, replace any hatch gaskets, etc. And when you get home, after the boat is clean, make sure to open your hatches and let the bilge area dry out.
