I agree with Reel. In order to eliminate additional holes in my hull at or below the waterline I moved my scuppers from the sides of the hull to the splash well after replacing the transom. Turns out putting everything back together my splash well is about 3/4 of an inch high than it used to be. This causes poor drainage from the deck plus any debris then goes into the splash well and has to find its way out through those scuppers. After I float her I will mark the sides to install new scuppers out the sides hopefully a little higher than factory.
