Default Changed the water pump on my DF 140

Last week while I was at the coast I changed the waterpump impeller and base plate on my Johnzuki DF 140. It was extremely easy to do so any of you guys who have one, don't hesitate to tackle the job yourself.

I did run into one wrinkle, after I put in the new parts, the water stream from the tell tale was WEAKER than before. After taking the thing apart and reassembling twice more, I popped off the end of the tell tale and found some chunks of salt that had built up over the years.

Once the salt was gone, it pissed like a teenager.

I guess the new pump was pushing more water and forcing the salt pieces against the hole.
