I know quite a few dealers will work with you on the install and charge you a $1K or so do just hang the engine and hook up the connections and do the first start for you and keep all the warranty terms intact. .
the dealership i just left would only charge 400 for the whole installation of everything. we were one of the top 25 for 2008, so it wasn't a small dealership. those guys must be making a fortune.
