Default Hard Decision help

Sorry It has been so long since I have posted.

I found this deal that I could not pass up. I got a 2001 22' Tropy walk around cuddy for around $3600. The the mercury 150 2 stroke carb model on the back needs a rebuild. Rich guy was told that the motor needed a new head and was qoute $10,000 for repair. One cylinder is gone. Motor still runs but #5 cylinder is rattling. I found a guy that can rebuild it and warrenty it for 6 years for $3300. ( Does anyone want to do it for cheaper?)

I know that a bayliner is not the same quality boat as my wellcraft. But My wellcraft is a 1988 Dually. It runs and looks good. But it is a 1988. I have been wanting to put a 4 stroke on the V20 for some time but I don't know what to do.

Neither the wellcraft V20 or the Trophy would be by primary fishing boat but which one would you keep. The trophy does not have much fishing space but it is setup a little nicer for the family. The wellcraft has a lot of fishing room but the wife and kids can't get out of the elements. The trophy looks better and my wife wants me to keep that one.

I think I could sell the trophy for at least $10,000 with around $7000 invested
I think I could get about break even selling the V20. Maybe make a $500

My primary fishing boat is a 25' Topaz diesel and that is not going anywhere.

Let me know what you would do?

Does anyone know of a good deal of a used 4 stroke 115hp and up?

Thanks
