Fine spider webbing in the gel is no big deal. As it ages it becomes more brittle, and when the hull flexes it spiders. The odd thing is that it was on the hull bottom and transom, rather then on the hull sides and gunnels where you usually find it.

BTW - I am not a big fan of fresh water boats! Fresh water rots wood stringers and decks faster then salt water. It is better for the engine though.
