I pulled the rod boxes and fixed the cracks with fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin on the backside of the box. I also reinforced the rod boxes with a layer of cloth and resin over the entire backside of the box. Used Bondo on the outside of the box to make repaired cracks invisible. Painted the rod boxes with Interlux "Brightside" paint and refinished the teak with "Cetol Natural Teak". I think the boxes are now better and stronger than new.
