stumbled on this 3.0 very close to my house .. real clean freshwater .. looks like new. even comes with hydraulic steering.

one cylinder is low on compression .. owner wants nothing to do with it, just bought a new motor. maybe i could get away with fixing one hole if the others are good.

price is right ...

not really what i want .. but if i could fix it reasonable, i could use the extra money for gas:)

they burn that much??? i tried to do a search, but did not come up with much info.

i love the 175 that BS has .. but those chrome bores scare me .. read about chrome peeling and much $$ to steel sleeve or get re chromed.

i would like something i could rebuild more cost effectively if something bad happens.

but it is not out of the picture yet.
