Default Finally bought a trailer!!!!!!!

Yup, I finally did it. Probably spent a little more than I needed to, but it's done!!!! I bought the Loadmaster Aluminum Tandem Axle with a GVWR of 6000lbs, the trailer weighs 820lbs. It has Kodiak disc, torsion suspension, with a spare (including the complete hub attached)and it is a bunker trailer (I've had enough with maintaining those rollers). The salesman said they were going up 3% after this, because of metal prices. The trailer one weight step down has the exact same torsion suspension, the only difference between the two is that mine has a much beefer I beam. The salesman strongly suggested going with the stronger one for only $80 more, so I did. He said it wouldn't be a problem and would not be bouncing down the street.
Total price $3,085 delivered to my door in RI, from S&S Marine, Norfolk, VA phone#(757)587-6574. Very nice company!

UH - OH ::)

Only kidding, JJBROC, sounds like a really nice trailer.

Just out of curiousity, do you know what grade of aluminum it is made of?

Unfortunately, I do not know the percentage. I checked all the owners manuals, but if you are interested S&S Marine would probable have that info.

Congrats. How much of the $3k was delivery? (Wondering if the trailer and the delivery were separate or was it "price-as-delivered" from the get-go?)

He charged me $200 to deliver it, I thought that was more then fair. Seeing as he came from VA in a F-350, it probably just about covered his fuel cost.
