			gosh durnitt...soacahtoesass! thats the last time i work trig on a 2x4 with a carpenters pencil. if that diagram is correct, and i sure it is, then if i lay my square on top of bracket it should work the same, right? well i get 3 and a half inches. thats 14 degrees of redneck deadrise (A.K.A. transom angle). sorry grace. would ya'll believe that i graduated L.S.U. with a degree in civil engineering? no...? me iether, so i won't tell that lie! but i did make it over 2 years b4 i dropped out.

			I got my bracket from a 23 foot Seacraft, it was perfect for the wellcraft!! 
		
		
		
		
		
		
			BS says that Seacraft has 14* and I think someone said that Wellcraft was 13*, 1* made no difference if they are ture mesurments. The only thing that made me need shims was the swim platform, because oif the curve in the wellcraft transom. Seacraft was stright across. If you are buying new they will make what ever you need.
