Finn, I plan on doing the same thing this Friday and Saturday. *I bought my V20 from a guy in Palm Beach and I live near Annapolis MD. *Much cheaper in the long run, plus it gives me an opportunity to see how the trailer behaves, not to mention the opportunity to see the boat with my own eyes before handing over the cash.


So you'll be coming right threw my area. if i win your boat what would you charge to tow it this way on the way to Fla. I'm in NC. Are you coming down 95? if so i could meet you at Highway 70 and 95 crossing.

I'd think about it, but I can't committ fully... I'm not sure how much the boat and trailer weigh, but I know it weighs quite a bit. I think I'd be coming close to the max. capacity if I were to tow it with my new Durango.

Another part of my hesitancy has to do with the fact that I haven't registered the trailer in my name and I therefore don't have plates. I do have the title to the trailer. The guy who sold me the boat signed it over to me, but I haven't yet signed it. I thought I would just allow the next person to sign it and get it registered. Is there some kind of a temporary registration that one can get? I know some states don't require registration.

oh ok that's fine. if i'd win i'd just come get it. I can pull it fine with my tahoe diesel. It pulls and stops my 250 Sea Ray fine and no brakes on it's trailer either.

hey can you send a pic of the trailer in the front where the wench post bolts to the trailer tongue. i wanted to see if the boat could be slide back about 2 foot on the trailer to be towed easier since it won't have the motors weight.
