1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
Hey guys, I just thought I would pass this along...
To make room for my new to me 88 V20, I'm selling my 84 Wellcraft. If anybody is interested, it's for sale on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT |
Re: 1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
Are you going to put one of those 200 suzukis on your V-20?

Re: 1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
Hi Blu,
Probably not. My V20 currently has a sea drive on it with an OMC 185 that may only need a little TLC to get her running. With all the talk about brackets on this forum, it's tempting to consider converting the sea drive to a bracket and using one of the Suzi's. But, I think doing the bracket work would be more than I'm capable of doing myself. So for now, I'll probably just try to sell the Suzi's as a pair. Thanks for asking. |
Re: 1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
are you leaving the bracket on the boat too?

Re: 1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
Hi Skools,
Do you mean the bracket on the boat I'm selling? If so, then yes, it's included with the boat. |

Re: 1984 25' Wellcraft For Sale
Hey guys,
Floor and transom are solid as far as I can tell. The transom and the bracket are holding those big engines with no sign of weakness at all. I can take more pictures for you if you're interested. If any of you live nearby, you're all more than welcome to come and see her. She looks good for her age, but she's old. As I said, she could use a little TLC. I do have the title for boat and trailer. The trailer was signed over, but I haven't registered it in my name since I didn't plan on towing the boat outside of my community; there's a boat launch just down the street from my home. Steering does come with the boat, but it's not hydraulic. Since the first set of engines were replaced, I've not been able to get things straightened out power wise. Plus, the boat is too big for me. I'm fairly new to the boating world. My eyes got big :o when I first saw this boat and I had to have it. So, I got it. Very much something a novice would do... Slowly, but surely I'm learning some lessons (I hope). |
