"tank full of 60 gallons of premium gas"

I thought 2-strokes ran better with lower octane?

Mulv, I was thinking that too. But then I read it and it said it broke the shift rod. Common problem on mid 90' model and below Yamaha's. Its my understanding after the mid 90's they went with stainless rods.

If I recall, MJ's 175 Yamaha had this problem prior to him buying it, but he replaced with stainless? That true MJ?

Either way from that small pic the boat itself looks good. Someone who knows what they are doing with that Yammie will probably get a good deal. I emailed him about the top, I doubt he will sell it separately but its worth a shot.

Damm Mulv. Been up all morning on E-Bay and didnt see it Surprised that you dont see more enclosure tops/used for sale. There is an AFt enclosure on E-Bay, but I want the side and front windows. My Bim top has zippers already, so I am expecting that they just zip in ??, "but then again with my luck" :-[

Your right, That could be a sweet deal if the reserve is not too high.
