Default Re: Who's running a 200hp outboard?

Hey Skools, when I brought it in to my dealer for my 20 hour service, Steve the service manager asked me if it was happening to my motor before I could even bring it up. They already did it, Yamaha warranty took care of it of course. He documented it on the repaior order. i am a service director at a new car dealer so I know about documentation. It's fine now, he did a great job, even detailed my boat before they gave it back to me!!

Congrats, Franco.

I've been starting to talk myself down to a 150, but now I'm leaning back to the 200... :)

Hey Skools, they are good guys there. I bought lotsa stuff there before buying my new boat there. One of the reasons was because they had a good service department crew. I was really lucky to find them.

Hey Ches, you'll like the 200, my new boat is several hundred pounds lighter than my V20 was, the extra 50 ponies will rock that thing. And they are really quiet, about as noisey as a dishwasher at 5000 rpm

Hey Chesapeak:
I know this is a old thread, but wondering if you ever found out what your problem was with the loss of rpm's and stalling out. Mine did the same just last week.
