How in the world could that be a trap? Excluding hermaphrodites, there are ONLY 2 biological choices. Male and Female. Anyone who thinks there are more, that they are different than what they are born as has a mental condition, but that does not change their biological sex. If Jackson can't (or won't) define what a woman is that's a sure indicator of her unfitness for the position that she was just confirmed to. And lets not forget that she ONLY was nominated to that position because she is a black woman and Biden promised that he would nominate a black woman to the supreme court if he was elected. There may be reasons not to treat people “identifying” as as sex, not their own unfairly, but that shouldn’t be a reason to allow genetic males to unfairly compete in women’s sports or have access to women’s private facilities like restrooms and showers where there’s huge potential for abuse.

She dodged the questions and, yes lied, to not give the opposition any talking points that would jeopardize her chances of confirmation. She will now move to a position where she can press her liberal agenda, without regard for the clear limitations of the constitutional language.

Even people that have undergone surgery to make themselves look more like their desired sex still are not true men or women. It is impossible for a male to have fallopian tubes and a womb or a female to have a prostate and working testes. They may *look* like the opposite sex, they may dress like and adopt the mannerisms of that sex, but in fact, they are still very much their birth gender. Their chromosomes will still be either XX for a female or XY for a male.
