Do you think any water that hits the deck will drain forward as opposed to aft toward the scuppers or do I need to add some ballast in the rear???

Am I over-thinking again? HELP!
You probably want to go with a Sears Gamefisher instead of that Eska. That or quadruple Force 125's ('87 model, The black ones with the digital watch graphics) on a bracket with custom ventelating steps built into the hull.

For an offshore fishing rig how would that compare to say a 1985 Bayliner Capri with counter rotating Force 90's and vent holes drilled in the props?

Why screw around with the little stuff----Put the 525hp outboard on it and call it good---should do around 80+ if the hull does not come apart---LMAO

For the record, those Force engines were not black. I believe the color was Force-ler Blue. Late 80's I worked at a place that sold VIP's with factory rigged Force outboards. Never saw a counter rotating Force, nor a 25" shaft come to think of it. Wonder if any are still alive?

Long live the go-fast thrreads.

Seriously guys....I expected more out of you. At least Bradford did touch on the question at hand. Otherwise, most of my questions have not been answered.....disapointed......think I will post up on THT where the real expert "GO SLOW" pros hang out.

Cheers.

Honestly do not know because there's no tac but I believe it is a 9 p prop and .9 was a tick above idle so my old workhorse would stay runnin.

Anybody getting .1 or less?

Bah.... you guys are pikers.... You want to go slow? I have a set of Sears oars that will do much less than .1. (Depending on how many beers I've had)

I do not know exactly how fast we were going. But wot with a 150 Johnson barely moving. Truck had gotten stuck in sand and had to use the Johnson to help push. It took about two or three minutes to go ten feet.

I'll put my 2.7 Cruise-n-carry up against your 9.9 anyday BR.

I bet it will go WAY under .9 mph...it may even go negative with the right prop.

But its been put up for the winter so I guess we cant run em...but if we did, you would leave me in the dust.
