I agree Beckett should have pitched. My 14 year old son (who, of course, knows everything) said that before the game, but I told him Wakefield would do just fine. I kept telling him that through the 5th inning when I fell asleep, and, apparently, it went to hell after that.

I FEEL BAD FOR WAKEFIELD, BUT, NUKLEBALL PITCHERS
ARE GOOD TILL THE BATTERS MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS, I.E. 4-5 INNINGS, AFTER THAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER PITCH, YOU'RE DEAD.

ABOUT BECKETT, HE PITCHED FOR US AND HE WON THE LAST GAME OF 2003 W.S. AND I REMEMBER THE MANAGER WAS ASKED ABOUT BECKETT PITCHING ON THREE DAY REST AND HE SAID: "IF WE DO NOT WIN TONIGTH HE'LL HAVE SIX MONTHS TO RECOVER!!!

Went to the game last night!!! *My neighbor has some connection who works in marketing for the Sox and hooked him up with tickets. *They were "HP Pavilion Club" seats directly behind home with a restaurant behind the seats, full bar, and waiter service at your seat! *Amazing!!!!
