Hope you get to take that beautiful 21 out and spin that etec up for a while for your birthday present!!...  BTW...what kinda top speed are ya gettin' from that 175...I for one believe the high HP, small block etecs are the perfect power for these boats of ours...

Wow - a 175hp Etec - possibly the best all around outboard for this boat !
I'm guessing top end, flat water, engine trimmed up just before the point of porpoising, with 1/2 tank of fuel, one person aboard, bimini down............. Should see.......... 45-47 mph The biggest difference is likely fuel burn.........at 3,500 - 4,000 rpm it may be using as little as 7 gallons per hour. Great looking boat !
