I received an email from the WellcraftV20 Community today, wishing me a happy birthday. Very cool! Thank you. Here are two of my favorite pictures of my boat...

BTW...what kinda top speed are ya gettin' from that 175...I for one believe the high HP, small block etecs are the perfect power for these boats of ours...

Thanks guys. I actually don't know how fast she goes. Fast enough? Hard to open it up with the family on board and the bay waves.

Wow - a 175hp Etec - possibly the best all around outboard for this boat !

I'm guessing top end, flat water, engine trimmed up just before the point of porpoising, with 1/2 tank of fuel, one person aboard, bimini down.............

Should see.......... 45-47 mph

The biggest difference is likely fuel burn.........at 3,500 - 4,000 rpm it may be using as little as 7 gallons per hour.

Great looking boat !
