I talked to the guy this morning he still has them. The outboard boats transon is rotten, but the floors and decks are good. The 2 I/O boats floors and decks are rotten. He is at the point that he wants to part them out. I need a new windshield for mine, he said one is in really good shape, it would go for around $150. The other needed work and would sell for $75. His has other hardware and motor parts out of the 2 I/Os. I still am undecided if I sould go that far.

Keep in mind the windsheild off the outboard is a '72 model which is a different style cap than your '78 model. The earlier windsheilds had a larger center panel, I don't know if it work or not.

$150 sounds pricey( ) to me for a used windsheild off a boat he's about to take to the dump. $150 should buy you the entire hull in my mind.
