Steinhatchee isn't too far about 2 hrs pulling the boat as it's all back roads but I go there a couple of times a year. Looking at going there over Labor Day to do some scalloping with the family. I mostly go out the Suwannee or Cedar Key.

must be something in the water in gville. my wife is also from there and i had to get full curtains and a small propane heater for her to go out oct- dec. and we live in florida...
