Hey Wilson
Do they interfere with the rod holders? Where did you get them? thanks

here's a link to where I posted them a few weeks ago.... man the rod holder almost got me....I checked and rechecked to make sure I was no where near steering cables/wires but forgot about the rod holders.. I cut the first hole and the rod holder was encroaching into the space by like 1/2" or less cutting across the top left hand corner. fortunately I cut the 4 corners of the fiberbglass out with a hole saw and I was able to push the hole saw in further and take a perfect crescent shaped piece out of the plastic tube of the rod holder, rods still fit in no problem. (if they were ss I would have been screwed. If I had only moved them back another 1/2" or so I would have had no problem...(turns out on the port side I did not have that problem as the rod holders are not installed identical on both sides (close but not exactly) Willy, I kind of half assed it, right now they are only screwed into the 1/4" or so fiberglass....my intention was to through bolt as I am pretty sure I can reach them from the aft hatches but I didnt have all the hardware and I had a nice supply of #10 screws. I had some free time yesterday (rare) so I just used sealant and screws. if they loosen up on me on I'll through bolt them with some nice fender washers or reinforce with some wood behind the hole.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!...2 pages and still climbin' on subject of cupholders...since 2003 I don't recall ever this in-depth discussion about cupholders...but no doubt these are the "specialest" featured yet
![]() Wall is 1/4" thick and you used #10 screws and sealant, they ain't goin' nowhere...

Now, I just need a cupholder for my TransAm. Seems they thought nobody would want to drink while driving it! Not the first cupholder anywhere in it anywhere. Dangdest thing!

i remember when the japanese car companies got in the mini van business in the 80's. they could not understand why a 7 passenger vehicle needed 12 cup holders. they are like electrical outlets, can you ever have too many.....
