Thanks Step, I used the Arjay 6011 pourable compound like mauryc and nymack. Yes it does set and harden and you have to get all the wood out. Although I will say it sticks to everything I had some left over that I put on some wood to test and I could not get it apart. Also, I did do a good bit of glass work after the pour to bring it all together and looking good. Yes it has 2 coats on it and I have 2 more to add as soon as weather permits. I took a piece of glass that I cut off under the cap and had the paint shop match it for me.

Default Wow

Excellent work , You can now really enjoy your V on the water , another moment of enjoyment will be when you need to drill holes in the transom for trim tabs, or depth finder you now have the confidence and peace of mind even if it leaks past the 5200 sealant you are safe !
See I was not kidding about the Arjay seeping through the tiniest of holes ! Mine fill up the bilge area and started to pour on my driveway!

Chomper:

If you don't mind, could you post where did you get your Arjay from and what was the price for 5 gallons (If shipped how much was that?)

Thanks

Kamikaze

That is where I ordered mine from and they will give you a quote depending on where you are located for shipping. They are awesome to deal with, when I ordered mine the price on the website was last years price and they honored that.

nymack, you are not kidding that stuff creeps into every nook and cranny and sticks to everything. I did mine in my garage and I would not want that on my floor. You didn't let it setup on your driveway did ya?

That job looks great. I'm glad the pour worked out for you. Yeah, those holes are a *****. I went one step dumber ahd forgot to cover the inner bilge hole. I was saying to myself "this stuff is really settling" and that turned into "oh crap, where is it all going?" Oh well live and learn.
