We don't get many of them here in MA anymore. Still some, but not much. RI, yes and further south.

Squeteague? That would be a new name to me. I'll start calling them that down here to annoy everyone this summmer. ;D They are called Weakfish here - down farther south some call them seatrout even though they are a different fish then the "seatrout" they catch in florida. Those are some pretty big ones for this day and age in the cooler. Chum- they have really dropped off here in recent years. Lots of small "spike" weakies in the fall ff the beaches but none of the big "tiderunners" of the old days!!
