Default Well I Sold The V This Weekend

Well I think I did pretty good selling my V20 this weekend for $4,500. I was asking $5,000 knowing someone would talk me down so whe they offered me $4,500 I said deal but I'm keeping the GPS/Sonar. The V20 is a 1983 powered by a 1994 Johnson 150 which was purchased new in 1996. The trailer is a Venture (spelling) which was in great condition. I was going to post it here first but this guy came over before I even had it up for sale so that did not work out. It still sitting in the yard as I told him I had a trim motor coming that I would install so I'll try and post some picks. So did I ask enough or did I do pretty good?

Sounds about right for the price. With the way boats are moving now I would just be happy to sell it, $4500 and keep the gps, not bad at all.

Sad to see her go?

Yea, the V has been a great boat and I hate to see it go. The GPS is an Eagle and I'm going to but that in the new boat as a back up.

Well the guy came by this weekend and towed the V away and it was really tough to see her go. The good news is I know the guy who purchased the boat and he is going to keep it at one of my friends piers so she didn't go too far. The reason for the delay was I told him I would replace the trim motor because mine was in bad shape. When I took out the old motor it was rusted with holes all in the back side but the thing some how still worked.
