thanks guys, i went to west and ordered 4 today (2 for me & 2 for vic)
wellcraft needs 16" and the only ones i've found are 14"

size matters after all

Those are the ones I used I believe, I had to mount them a little closer to the windshield, but they still offer plenty of support.

got them in from west marine today, i ended up taking the 16 " al bars from the orignal supports and putting the new ends in them. looks ok, but the older oned were a lot more support and much better made than the taylor replacements i got. if you guys have the orignals and they are in good shape, take them apart and clean then and take good care of them.

i think if i had to do it again, i would do what nymack suggested, mo better & cheaper......

I'm going to use the idea of the bimini top parts because I have most of the parts that I need. The previous owner of my boat changed one side with what looks like a swim platform support. The original side is pretty much shot and I have been looking for a good replacement.
