Thanks for the compliments. I really wasn't sure I wanted to drop the cash on the blue sea switch panel but it has been worth every penny. I still need to find some weatherproof stripping for between the starboard and the dash to keep water out from behind the dash. Anyone have a suggestion as I can only find 1/4 stuff that is way to thick, looking for maybe 1/8"...

As far as the the lights I will see if I can get some better pics this week. If I had to do it again I would have used a different one of their LED strips... Like this one
http://www.superbrightleds.com/light_bars-flexible.html
WFLS and NFLS series Flexible Light Strips
The waterproof ones. Just as cheap, little brighter and thinner.

Also some other ideas...

Did you get the option while ordering the panel as to the type of switches, i.e. DPDT?

Are the switches illuminated?

Did it come with the labels you needed or did you tell them which labels you wanted?

I know, too many questions. Just humor me and answer one at a time if needed.

Looks good keep up the work. And more photos every chance you get.

I like simple questions...makes me feel smart...

No I didn't get to choose, they are are SPST but the place I got them online (boatfix.com) had the switches for pretty cheap, so I added a DPDT LED to the basket and just swapped them out when it got here.

Comes with about 50 labels for most anything you can think off.

Switches light up when turned on, just the switch not the label so you have to learn where everything is.

Looks great. I did mine two years ago, along with all new wires from bow to stern. I like the switches and placments you choose.

Thanks...figuring out where to put everything was the hardest part, I thought it was going to be easy but it takes time to space everything out.

When you ran the bow light wires where are they located? Are they in the head liner?

I can't remember that off the top of my head...two years and many many beers. I will look next time I go down to the boat and see if it brings back any horrific memories.

I found a guy on another forum that does amazing panel and hatch work...along with tons of other things....but his panels are amazing...all custom with whatever engravings you want etc......and affordable too!

I am planning on redoing my entire console and he is going to provide me with some panels. As soon as I can I will try to get some pictures up for you guys....

If anyone else is in the market right now let me know and I will give you his website address....I think all of you guys would like to take a look at his work!

What's the address? Interested in seeing what he has done. Any idea what a new dash panel will set you back?
