actually, there used to be but I don't know if is still there. Funny thing is that I go through that intersection two if not three times a day. I am about 1 1/4 mile north of there......JK, obviously you launch at the "bluff".....don't know if you've been down there lately but as of yesterday there is only one floating dock [out of three].Launching there this weekend should be a joke. Also ,I took my tin boat out of the channel about two weeks ago to check out the results of the recent dredging. At dead low you now have about 5 1/5-6 ft. of water [used to be about 18"]. stick close to the channel markers, stay to the west side if you can. Hope to see you down there one day.

Hey Phester,

Glad to see another KPer here...Yeah the bluff. I was down there the other night and saw that there was only one dock in the water. Hopefully by the weekend the other two will be in. I usually don't go out on this weekend due to the weekend warriors that usually like to tie up the docks. When I go out it is usually on Mondays when I'm off and weekdays when I work at night. As you know less congestion...Other times I am usually down there surf fishing....I'll see how the weekend goes as far as launching. As far as the dredging goes, I'm glad that the channel is a little bit deeper. Last year sweated out the 1 1/2 to 2' of water and hated being tied to the tide. My prop hub spun out while I was in the river getting back to the dock. Low tide stunk but was able to make it to be anchor and await bay constable for tow back in( WHEW!!)....

yep, nice to have a decent channel again. they'll be back again in the late fall to finish. I more than likely will have the v20 next weekend....between the graduation parties and pool opening this weekend is done. However I will be at the ramp sun. am and mon. just for the entertainment.

EXACTLY....Nothing like a nice hot cup of cofeee, sitting on a beautiful morning and watching the "Festivities" at the dock. Or more fun the afternoon when the same "Festivities" begin when people come back in...lol,lol,lol..........
