I didn't realize until today just how GOOD this forum really is. I've considered this forum home for some time now, but didn't realize just how good the guys here are until today. I recently joined up withFLORIDA SPORTSMAN tob e more up to date on the proposed fishing regulations and meetings, and I wish now I would have heeded the warnings of the people on THT they gave me regarding that forum. The regular forums over there are OK, not to much drama other than the typical everybody is an expert because there sister in law brothers cousin told them so. But I made the mistake of venturing into off topic over there, BIG MISTAKE! It's nothing but a bunch of going back and forth, and the whole gang menatality. then the moderators come in and change your posts to help the mobs out. Discussions over there DON'T exist in OFF TOPIC/POLITICS, just a mob preying on whoever will speak against the accepted majority.

MAN I LOVE THIS PLACE, even you to CTT(in a non GAY sort of way).

Same here.
My wife said I may look all I want but can't touch. Same for this site, (so far) only looked at a couple other sites somewhat similar but haven't commited V adultery by joining or typing. Most of them are like you said.

I pretty much stopped other forums except some info type stuff on THT.
Got too many friends on here, if I need something guys give me some advise, most of us are funny as all h e l l , some like me and CTT are darn good looking sexy beasts.
Even got some old codgers like Ozzie and Franco to give us old hippie type advise.
Got some mechanical marvels like you and Skools CT and some guys that have more experience with boats and stuff than most guys combined on other sites.
And of course we have the W.E.T which has remarkable recooperative qualities after a long day, which by the way someone has been slacking on, just cause he is now an expecting father to be is no excuse for shirking.
On top of all this we have the all seeing eye moderator, who with his linguistic skills can totally dumbfound any mere mortal

I'm a member on quite a few forums, and frequent 4 or 5. I was warned about the FLORIDA SPORTSMAN one from some member on THT that said they were headhunters over there(and the members on THT can be pretty rough), but he vicious attacks and people trying to get 3000 posts and then get banned to come back with another name is ridiculoius. They post ho to no end just to rack there post count up, and then find a way to get banned. Moderators will even jump in on it from time to time and share in the hunt. I had left there POLITICS section after reading a few posts and seeing the attacks, so I made the mistake of posting in an off topic post near and dear to me.
