Default 5/17 Flounder attempt...

Our community flounder tourney is this weekend, and being the defending champ, the pressure to produce is on. Today featured winds that were SW 15-20 w/ gusts to 30. Dirty water and grass everywhere.

The bite was slow for most according to the radio chatter, and I was feeling a little smug w/ 2 20"er's in the box by 9am. Well, that was about it for me as I could only add one throw-back...three bites total for the day. As it stands now, I'm in 5th place. Not many fish were caught, but with about 90 anglers in the contest I knew a few good fish would be weighed. The leader is 5#11oz, so I need to find a money fish. The only problem is, the weather tomorrow may be worse. Nonetheless, I'll be out there from 0530 until 430pm regardless of the weather.

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Default To appease randle

Sunrise would be nice, bait, even prey or the occasional pelican.
